Buddy was an 18 year old male neutered spaniel x. Buddy was being treated for severe arthritis and pain particularly in the lower back, hip and knees.He was on a non steroidal anti-inflammatory, tramadol and denmarin for liver support. Buddy was falling over and had a difficult time getting up from laying down. The owner wanted to see if there was any other options to improve his quality of life. I had just purchased a therapeutic laser and told her we could give this a try. Buddy slowly improved over time and it gave the owner another 5 months with her beloved pet as she had been contemplating putting him down due to the pain and inability to move comfortably
Kozmos,was a 14 year old neutered male shepherd x. The owner was looking for an alternative treatment for arthritis of his hips. Kozmos was not able to take any non steroidal antiinflammatories as they caused stomach upset. The owner had him on glucosamine and pain medications which didn’t seem to help. I started laser therapy on his lower back and hips. He was able to get up easier, chase the cat, roll around in the grass and get in and out of the car much better.
